Super Moon

Coming to a sky near you on March 19, 2011

Most natural disasters have nothing to do with the moon at all. The Earth has a lot of pent up energy, and it releases it anytime the buildup gets too great. The supermoon probably won't push it past the tipping point, but we'll know for sure, one way or the other, by March 20.

Meh, it will prolly be overcast, and I'll miss the whole thing.

But on the plus side, I could get some decent air, launching the neon over speed bumps!

So yeah guys, the day after I read this deal about the moon, Japan got annihilated. And now they're saying CA is gonna get hit in the next couple weeks. Apparently it's the same guy saying it who predicted the big one in 89.

me and my buddy decided to celebrate super moon then we also realized we did nothing on st pattys day(work damn that thing:-p) so we got tons of beer and liqour "super moon st pattys day bon fire car bomb party"

It is supposed to peak sometime today, but it did look pretty darn bright this morning, if not just a touch larger.

Just in case anyone cares, this full moon is called the Death Moon by Neo-pagans.

In Medieval times it was the Chaste Moon, while the Celts called it the Moon of Winds.

It's already past 4:30AM, Sunday, in Tokyo. AFAIK, Japan is still around. So much for that, huh?

...or is this one of those things that won't happen until it comes time for the USA to "experience" it?

It was bright here, but not something worth remembering. My customers kept commenting on it though, as if it was the end of the world. I was puzzled.

Very bright, but I didn't go out of my way for it..

If nasa was smart, they should have sent someone to the moon yesterday while it was closer to the earth..
