I don't have a stock overflow on my car anymore, so I can't run out and tell you. I'll try to remember to check if I have my old bottle (or cap) and let you know.

Why are 99% of the neon body kits so ugly?

Think about the time frame that the Neon kits were made. Late 90s to early 2000s. That era is known as the Fast & Furious period. Most exterior add-ons were affected by the ricer disease that was running rampant throughout the US at that time.

It was indeed. The worst part about RD was that the painful effects were often not felt for years. But as time marched on, the infected either realized they had it and looked back at their car and felt the pain, or the infected didn't realize it and it took many painful blows to the head and ego before the truth set in. Either way, it was a crippling disease effecting thousands of males aged 16-35.

And don't be fooled by the CDC reports that RD has been eradicated from the US. Many people are still effected to this day. Thankfully, due in large part by the support of 2GN, RD is more common to other makes of cars than it is to the Neon. Stay strong 2GN! We will overcome!

Why are the mechanics at Meineke stupid?

Went in there today to get a complete radiator flush and then fill with the new engine ice. And what did they do. Mix it with the green stuff, a definite no no. :cussing: :cussing: :cussing: :cussing: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Yeah lesson learned. I was hoping they would actually do it the right way. Guess I was wrong. I will never take my car back there again. Now I have to flush it and do it again the right way. :banghead:

Dante.... Where do I put in a flush tee so I can flush the radiator? We have plenty of buckets to put coolant into. And I have no problem being able to recycle it all.

Being no substitute Dante, (more like Dante's prostitute) When I purchased my neon, there was one in the heater hose between the hard lines, and the firewall.

Like Bill said, you can install it in one of the heater hoses going to the firewall. The hose size is 5/8"

I know the 2.0 is 350lbs. I do not know what the 2.4 weighs though. I know the 2.4 is heavier, as is the T850 compaired to the T350.

Steve (C1DoG), it isn't a factory installed part. A previous owner had installed it. But you never know, possibly yours has one.

Between the engine and trans, I wouldn't be suprised if you gained 200lbs. IIRC, the trans is 80-85lbs heavier.

She will not be happy with you if you plan on keeping it that way. But if it's just so you can drive her till you can get the right coolant in her, then she will forgive you.

Hagan? Yeah, he does that. And then he wonders why his Neon breaks.

Why is my neon so awesome, everything wants to smash into it, in attempt to "become one with the neon"?

In the past month I have chalked up various birds, and a VW, tho the VW was pushed against it's will.

This is getting hard on the back. :cussing:

Because Neons defy normal expectations of a cheap car, the entire world wants to be one with the Neon. When you add a tight nit group that still loves these cars and has a great time every year in celebration, well, you are just asking for it. That is a risk we take owning Neons.

I hope your back is feeling better soon Bill.
