So, who's a fan of the Kaminari Viper style front bumper?

Pretty much what the title says, all off-topic related posts can be posted here to share with everyone.

Absolutely not. I wouldn't put it on my car if I found it on the side of the road in mint condition, painted to match, and I got $100 to do it.

Sup Jas!

Nice save...

They also come in CF, which should be more durable. The body shop was supposed to replace mine with CF, but they screwed up and ordered FRP. After shipping (to my location), the CF is only $18 more. (Which I was going to pay the difference):cussing:

I couldn't really complain about the screw up, since I had FRP, and insurance was buying it. so it goes.

One thing: Try to convince the body shop to use flexible paint if getting one. The idiots around here can't seem to grip the fact that it still flexes a bit, and the f*cking paint cracks... :banghead:

The only things that have broken mine, were large cats, and Hondas.

For those of you clutching your chest about ready to scream at your monitor then PM, txt or Facebook me saying "ARE YOU PUTTING A BODY KIT ON ONE OF YOUR NEONS?!?!" The answer is NO... you can calm down... go take some deep breaths and have a glass of water.

This is the front bumper I'm speaking about...

Be honest. I'm not here to ridicule you (though other members might.) lol

Who likes it and would put it on their car if they had the funds?

To be honest if I were to put a body kit on my car (I wouldn't) I'd do Kaminari for their top notch quality.
im not a big fan!

But than again, if your car is laying on the ground it looks pretty good. Id say if your gonna rock this bumper it needs some sort of lip to look decent. just my .02

Is the whole bumper available in carbon fiber, or just the "blade" ?

Can't say for sure, but there was enough weight difference that the shipping costs were less on the CF unit. I can't see the crossbar alone making enough difference in weight.

Meh, no thanks. The SRT bumper looks beast enough as it is. As for an SXT....eh I still dunno. Not a fan of the body kits/bumper conversions so much :/

I don't HATE it, but I don't LOVE it, either. I feel like it needs hole(s) between the headlights to look good.

It's actually a nice looking bumper IMO. Flows pretty well with the non-skirt non-rear lip body. Although I won't bother getting it because I think the stock front end of 00 and 02 are good enough.
