Did the Jeep trans bolt up to the srt motor?
There's no "Man" in automatic

Yea because the 2.4 in the jeep is the same as the 2.4 in the pt cruiser just turned sideway.

I can just see the Jeep getting into a mudhole and bogging. Then getting into boost and hauling ass lol.

Oh i'm sure it's possible. Fitting the motor in there sideways would be interesting.

Just use the Aisin AX-5 from the Wrangler and fab up some motor mount and you're off.

As a 2.5 TJ owner, I assure you that the transmission is not the smoothest shifting thing in the world lol.

I had thought about doing this when my 2.5 shits the bed.

Are the 2.5 and the 2.4 the same motor (Essentially ofcourse)

Will the 2.4 bolt up to the 2.5 transmission?

i wish i did not hit a s10 blazer head on in mine several years back. lol, i would have done that. haha

Both the 2.4 and 2.5 use the Aisin AX-5 as far as I am aware. The 4.0 uses a different Aisin transmission.
