Need Opinions on this Website

Hey guys, I'm designing a website for a local Dyno Tuning place that just opened up. I talked to the guy on the phone for about an hour today and I'm going to be meeting him sometime next week to work something out. I threw this website together as a concept to see what he thinks about the design. Keep in mind, I haven't even met the guy yet or been to the place so the information is quite limited.

His current site he started last month:
http://www.twistedinnovation.com

My concept site I've started:
http://twisted.highbrowmedia.net

If you could, just let me know what you think and if you can think of anything else you'd like to see on the site as far as a customer point of view would go. I'm also thinking about making a database for customers to go back through and look up all of their dyno information to compare, etc through the site, but I'm not sure if he wants to go that in-depth at this point.

Thanks guys! (and gals!)

looks like a nice website that you made. simple and easy to navigate. that is one of my biggest issues with websites, that they are hard to navigate. good luck with it.

Sweet. Thanks man! Yeah, I wanted to give it a bit of attitude, but didn't want to go overboard and wanted to keep it to the point and professional. :)

looks good! i'd say the only thing i'd improve on is to spread out the bodies of text on some of the pages to better fill the space they're in.... negative space = teh suck.

Yeah. Like I said, I still haven't even met the guy yet to get any information on the site. :) Kinda' limited to what I can put up there at the moment. Hopefully the voids can be filled after I meet with him. :D

Thanks for the input, evlneon!

Actually, they're not his rates... I'm not sure what his rates are... I just pulled them from another dyno shop web site that I saw for a ballpark estimate.

Strengths: You've achieved your goals with the website. It's nicely done and appears professional. It's short and concise, and the page sources are concise as well. It's readable and clear to navigate. No dead links. No spamdexing. It looks great on Firefox :)

Weakness: The size of the page is fixed and doesn't change relative to the screen resolution or browser size.

If your focus is on what works, that is the kind of report that I would give you. If you consider yourself an advanced web developer, I'd nitpick a little more:

Weaknesses: The HTML code is not standards-compliant. This is important to ensure compatibility, avoid surprises, and be a little more conscious of the user. More info can be found from the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
