Do pics need to be resent? Is the 2012 calendar gonna be scrapped ? I preordered one, and would really like it to happen, no matter how late

Jason will have a firm yay or nay on the calendar moving forward by Friday. If it's a nay everyone will get their money back then. If it's a yay, I'll try to log in to let everyone know.

There are only 6 total pre-orders and two of them are for me. In addition the submissions are low too.

I could've submitted an entire calendars worth of Neon shots (members cars) if he wanted me to he just didn't get back to me.

While I can't speak for him, I do believe that he would rather use members cars with that members permission since this isn't a Neon calendar, it's a 2GN.org calendar.

That's the thing, they are members cars taken at various 2gn meets we've had in New England over the past couple of years. And I'm sure they would consent if he needed them to.

Frank, I like CM's idea here. Anything to salvage the calendar for this year.

I think I already made it clear that they aren't just "generic neons" but actual member's cars, but if I didn't.... I have pictures of: Jimmy, supertrick05, Mat00es, Neonslg, Slaw, Lucius, Nee, Mjrpaine, roadkill, lilnicko, Jeff, CarAudioholic24, r34neon, etc. Plus the other submissions that he has that we know of for sure that would make plenty for a calendar.

I'm ok with mine being in it ... and I will buy one then ... lol

Crystal, I appreciate the pictures you sent in, they were very good, as always! I don't really have any objection to using Meet pictures but would rather use them more as filler pictures if at all possible. For next year please still send them in, if anything like this year, I'll need them.

Due to the number of pre-orders and now that we're in February I'm going to refund everyones money tonight. I hate not having a calendar this year but when there's only 6 pre-orders and I need at least 13 to take advantage of the bulk order pricing, the amount of money made will be next to nothing or there will be a loss. Sucks but from the business standpoint it's not really a good move. :-/

Look for your refunds throughout the day today.

I'm also disappointed I don't have a Calendar to hang up.

Jason, I appreciate the swiftness of your decision and the refund but I am really sad about the fate of this year's calendar. I would gladly have paid more if it had meant that we could have shown even a tiny profit but I understand why you've done what you felt you had to do. Thank you.

Let's not let this deter us from having a 2013 calendar.

Oh there will be a 2013... I'm going to keep the current submissions for next year so we should have plenty for 2013.
