Like me  JK. I wll always love my neon. Best DD around!

This site has slowed a bit. I have noticed tho, that many people are more likely to post on the 2gn facebook page than in here.

we actually had farm quotes on the local news: "hogs, cattle, corn," etc. I was one of the few boys going to my high school who wasn't a member
of Future Farmers of America. I barely remember party lines when I was in elementary school.

I'm thinkin party lines were around long after you were out of elementary school, unless you were held back. A lot.

Well we had Party lines pretty much up to the demise of Rotary Pulse.

I'll admit that I'm partial to my own forum, but then I'd also be lying if I didn't admit that my darker color theme was based on Jason's dark color theme here. 2Gn.org inspired our Club-S12.org overhaul, even tho since then we've tweaked and refined the look and feel well beyond what we ever expected. We also have a good, friendly, fun community, although it's been a battle in past years to keep it that way, even an all-out war once between us and another site that was trying to trash-talk and do us in. Of course, in the end the other site couldn't hold a candle to our look and feel and people.

Yeah, I'm loyal to sites. I kept coming back here to check things out, even while my 2000 ES slumbered in the back yard for a number of years. Even before I bought the SRT-4 I decided I wanted to get back into a 2GN chassis again. Cleaned off the ES and brought it into the garage to get it prepped for the ATX-to-MTX job. I attribute that desire in large part to the many conversations on here, some heated, most informative, and a bit silly. Some of the hotter-blooded chaps from here have moved on to other cars for reasons someone else best stated in page one of this thread, but the core group remains.

I admit that I use SRTforums now more than before because of obvious reasons, but if I get around to running a decal on my SRT, it'll be a 2GN.org one like on my SE. Which reminds me, my SE's decal is faded and needs replaced lol

Oh, and NyNeon0813, I'm running a Magnaflow stainless Camaro muffler with the dual outlets. I love the sound.

I made sure it was centered, unlike the OEM muffler which for some lame reason is not. I was gonna put some 90-deg. mandrel bends on the outlets and make some tailpipes but I never could decide what rear bumper I wanted to eventually go with... so I've been just venting them out the sides like that ever since. And it works fine.

I don't like SRT forums, usually when I had an issue with my SRT I still resolved it here.

There's more activity there than here, and so if I need a quicker and more comprehensive response (meaning from many people), I get it there easier.

Still, I usually post the question here, too. Fewer people, yes, but less nonsense.

I used that same muffler on my SXT with an R/T rear bumper cover (old picture .... the wing and tires were later moved to my SRT-4)

Yeah I had friends commenting that it sounded like an SRT-4 exhaust. It's mildly aggressive, not over the top. Not too loud. I like it.

It's hard to stay interested in a car when it's so icy I have to go *under* the speed limit, and so cold that I don't want to spend any time away from climate control. haha

Also ATM stands for "automated teller machine", so "ATM machine" gives me a headache. ; )

I for one, am just plain busy.

I have not been on much since my girls were born. Add in my work schedule and there isn't much time left.

Last week I logged 70hrs. This week is 40hrs and next week will probably be 70hrs. I love the OT, but damn am I tired at the end of one of those weeks.

As of this Saturday, I'll have 14 days in a row at work. But I'm still on the boards at least twice daily. Of course, I have no life outside of work and 2GN...

I'd jump at a chance for salary, if it worked out to the 50-55hrs I average a week.

I can live on 40 hour weeks, but the 70 hour weeks are so so nice.
