^^I just missed that storm. I barely got out of Chicago during all the lake effect that was going on a few days ago. Looks like they are going to be sitting under a lot more snow by then end of next week.

Good luck with that!

I enjoyed the storm, was drifting the shit out of my fullsize van after it all settled down. Ended up with about 5 inches on grass and 3 inches on the road.

I'm not enjoying the storm, after driving in it all day for work. Cannot believe the idiots tailgating me while driving on ice. :tardbang:

We've got a "level 3 snow emergency" anyone caught on the streets are given a $100 fine. In the town I live the police station is on the main (and only) drag so everyone's getting caught

Only way to go. I had a 4x4 Ram 2500 as a rental while I was home for Christmas and was able to have a little fun in the first part of the storm.. NW Indiana may set the record (local) for most snow in a 24 hour period with 34 inches.

After driving in the :cussing: snow all day Sunday and Monday, the Subaru felt like it had a wheel out of balance. I used a high-pressure wand (with hot water) at the car wash last night to clean out all four wheel wells (the tops of the struts were coated with about three inches of ice). Still didn't drive right today so I went to Goodyear (the fleet company won't let me use a Subaru dealership for maintenance). Techs put the car on a lift, removed the wheels and spent a lot of time hosing off the insides of the calipers and underneath the car. The verdict? The wheels were off-balance a little but the main problem was ice thawing and refreezing on the brakes. I was told that this will continue to happen as long as this cold snap continues. Funny- this never happened with my Jeep Liberty.

I have gotten enough snow packed on the inside of the rims on my Cherokee and my Raider to throw the wheels off balance. Never had an issue with the brakes freezing tho.

I've never had this issue with any of my Neons, including the SRT when it was a DD. The problem with the Subaru is not enough ground clearance, unlike the Jeep. Many places on my route weren't plowed so I just had to gun the accelerator and sail though the snow, just like a boat. My work parking lot on Sunday had snow up to the axles so I had no choice but to drive like that.

Just made my first purchase from Modern Performance. The modding bug has truly bitten me.

Saw two SRT-4's during my route yesterday. I s-o-o-o miss driving my car! :banghead: Three inches of snow fell last night so the car is lucky to be sleeping off the winter. Going to the dealership with my dead battery on Saturday and will pick up some trim parts while I'm there (headlight welts and the plastic thingy that keeps the hood prop in place).

I want to paint my car again. I'm liking the idea of flat black with gloss black flames.

Did some drifting in the big van and minivan yesterday when I got home from work.

I can't drift the big van anymore. Almost hit a parked mail truck. Stupid of me to do so.
