Carlisle 2014 hotel...

So... the Harisburg West is still standing by all accounts I'm aware of. I wonder if there's any interest in heading back across the road should they remain open by July. The Motel 6 was a less than ideal location for us for a few reasons.

1) Rooms on the 2nd floor sucked ass for loading/unloading/parts hoarding
2) Our room looked uncleaned and we found some nasty stuff throughout.
3) We didn't have enough participants to fill the hotel like we pretty much did at the HW which lead to...
4) Getting reprimanded by the "hotel management" aka

ing slob that kept coming out to smoke, because we were being too loud in the parking lot and she acted like she was doing us some big favor by allowing us to stay there as long as she did.
5) If you were honest about the number of people staying in the 2 bed rooms (I was) you were charged more...
6) No sweet conference room to eat Pizza Hut!
7) it just plain sucks... it's no HW. It just didn't even have the same appeal at all and it was filled with tons of dirty sand scratchers... (NO OFFENSE AMIT!)

So maybe I'm just a whiny little bitch, but I for one thought the Motel 6 sucked and would gladly go back to the HW should it still be standing... who is coming with me??

Well for all it's faults, at least the HW didn't have duct tape securing the window, and any possessions that may have been left in my room.

As long as it's still standing, and has running water, who needs management?

i wasnt there last year so i cant really comment but i did like the HBW when i went the past 2 times so i voted HBW.. i say if its still standing then we go there.. doesnt hurt to make a reservation there and the other place.. they didnt charge to cancle the reservation for me last time.
