a used srt is most likely beaten the piss outta just before trade in.. cause honestly they dont care anymore. of the people i know with used srts.. all have had issues, specially the ones already modded.

and congrads.. the cailber is seen to the neon community as the enemy.. but honestly maybe it will perform better.. who knows. and with what they learned with on the neon, they can apply to the cailber. plus with the tuner market being so huge you can bet on TONS of parts.. i mean mopar already had a bunch of stuff before the cailber was availble for sale. honestly id take a caliber.. but it would be a 6speed srt4 model =P

Read rice_eater's sig. I see this old man driving an SRT-4 around the college... Not all SRT-4 drivers drive the piss out of there car, besides SRT-4's are meant to be driven' hard. But like I said there are some that are taken care of. The Caliber doesn't know what it wants to be...A new Dakota, or is it a PT cruiser... Hmmm maybe a Neon? No no no..its a Pacifica!? -_- I guess its something I might have to grow on...but so far I am not feeling it.

Honest to God, straight up opinion?

It's a Neon with more cargo space. It's a larger Neon that goes faster, accelerates quicker, handles better, gets beter fuel economy, and hauls more crap.

@Bluefox: You should show your side-by-side pics of your former Neon and your new Caliber. These are good snaps to show that the Caliber ain´t no SUV. I really like these pictures.

Way to go Bluefox! I like the Calibers, but then I always did, ever since they were rumored. In fact I wanted one.

And I would never ever ever buy a used SRT, sadly they are beat up...alot.

Congrats on your purchase, despite what everyone else wants, I'd like to see more pics. :D

300 hp, 260 lb-ft torque, 6 speed tranny...is that what you're talking about refect?

Oh yeah...that Caliber sounds real nice.

Well the Caliber SRT4 has 70 more hp and 10 more torque, I don't think they've been challenged side by side, so I don't know which one is faster, but the Caliber is heavier so that could be it's downfall.

Caliber is rated at the crank Neon is rated at the wheels so really its 35 more hp and 35 less torque in a heavier car

The SRT hasn't been dynoed yet, so we don't know what it is putting down at the wheels. Top speed will be faster but the acceleration might be slower.
