The point was more or less how obnoxious headlights have become for other drivers. I damn near hit two people walking on the edge of the road the other morning, because I literally could not see them due to the glare from an oncoming pick up tuck. I suspect the DOT is being bought off to approve this stuff, because if it was on an older vehicle, you would be cited for equipment violations.

Granted the two numbnuts shouldn't have been walking on the pavement when there was probably 20 feet of level burm beside the road. But if I had been any further over, my mirror would have clipped them.
