i bought a aem cam gear off a guy on .org with excellent feedback.. i got it today.. and its for a HONDA.. i needed it for this friday when i do my parts install..now im waiting for him to come online and refund my money so i can order one off ebay.. ='(

what a scammer that is why i hate buying stuff from people on line sometimes you never know when your going to get scammed. i've gotten scammed once on srtforums and almost a second time.

the bottom of the box has a lable saying its for 2.0 dohc neon.. so im thinking someone sold it to him and he never used it... but thats besides the point. i always verify shit when i get it.

Did you pay him through paypal? If so, you can report it.

problem is being resolved, as i thought he never used it, the person that sold it to him sent the wrong gear, so im sending it back to him and he's refunding my money. now to find a gear cheap and fast before friday

well i sent it back today, contacted him with the tracking number as requested.. so that i would get my refund.. guess what.. all my PMs read but no reply. my AIM messages seen up until he blocked 2 of my accounts (he signed off with no reply, i signed on with a different account just to see, and he was online.. so i messaged him from there and instantly signed off again) good thing he faulted in his scam.. he had me send the item back to the seller he got it from.. yeah well i contacted them (its a drop off ebay seller store thing) they will be holding the package and contact me when it arrives and they are also going to try and contact him and figure out why he's being an ass. i told them if anything just send the package back to me, ill pay them to send it back. if i could goto the post office right now and get the package i would. surprisingly the original seller is very cooperative and is like .. what you got to be kidding me. well we havent refunded him his money yet, but its not like i can give you his money even tho your story is believable.. the worst of it is.. he has good feedback on ebay, and .org.. 01rtgurl bought stuff from him and had no problems.. why all of a sudden does he flake out and screw me.

since i was under the impression i was getting refunded today.. i won a cam gear on ebay and planned on using the refund to pay for it.. well its paid for and now i have $30 until next paycheck (4/7) and i need gas, and i also need to get my exhaust all welded up.. so my install day is on hold until i can afford to... im so fucking pissed..

update.. i have my refund, i will have to call the original seller tomorrow and tell him not to worry, all has been taken care of.

30 dollars until payday? do you work, if not, you should seriously think about it.

Aside from that, I'm in a similar situation with an mp3 player i bought off of ebay. this seller also had a 100 % feedback rating. hes bought and sold over 40 items, with no complaints.

Then i get my mp3 player to find out that the front cover doesn't stay on, and the right channel doesn't produce sound.

He wouldn't refund my money, so i had to go through paypal. Fortunately, I won the case, and i'm in the process of getting my money back.

Unfortunately I have to wait until he receives the return before i see my money, plus I had to pay to drive in to the city($25) to get n estimate done on it(another $20) to prove that it wasn't as advertised. so i'm out $45 because of this dick.

Anyways, i'm the same way, very maticulate, and do the research needed to make sure that the seller is telling the truth, but again, some of them i think just get greedy, and think that they can slip one by once and awhile.

next month bills (beginning of the month) are already paid, plus i had some last minute shit i needed for my install, yes i work, but ive spent the money already =p was budgeting $120 for the install day (misc items/exhaust welding) i just wanna get it done, hehe thus why $$ is getting thin, i could wait.. but i dont wanna if i dont have to.
