Attempted theft.

Well, the fact that my RKE system is non-operational probably didn't help that my car was broken into. The thief tried what looked like a quick robbery but failed to do so. Door was still locked, and glass was all over the seat so he probably leaned in and tried to grab my radio. Easy right? Wrong. My radio happened to be a very complicated to install Clarion AutoPC that is practically BOLTED into place and wedged in so tight, any attempt to pull it out would break it. Well, the thief did just that and ran. Police tried getting prints off the radio but it was no good. So Now I got a broken window and a busted radio (I actually have a backup radio of the same model that I never got around to selling). Luckily nothing else got stolen. It's funny, because I'm not really angry. A little shocked yes, but my thinking was "hey, if you get this radio out quick without breaking it, you deserve to have it". Well Off to the window guy later on today (still haven't slept from yesterday) to see if I can get the glass replaced. BAH. INconvenient is what it is. Damn Jackass.

oh man, this really sucks man... happened to me on jan 2... what hurt me more was that my window was smashed and dash torn apart. as far as the audio/video stuff, blah, they can keep that shit. but did you really have to HURT my car?

are you planning on going through insurance?

my nieghborhood was having a record high of car thefts a few months ago. like 10 cars got shit stolen within a month or something. luckily i havent had any probs yet, but im always nervous. cant wait to move and put my car in a garage this summer

mines parked behind my garage... my dog is out there... if she sees anyone, she barks up a storm... if she sees a worm.. she barks up a storm...
hell... if she sees her own shadow she barks up a storm... needles to say... peopel dont like to go in our backyard... dog barks, i walk out with a loaded paintball gun

bah yeah this happend to me...i was at a bar tho, the thief went under the door handle to open the car...my gauges got stolen and they tried to steal my stock CD player...lame right....they popped my hood trying to take stuff in there too, but luckly nothing was taken. I guess they tried to steal my car too bc the ignition was popped out too (check out sites on my cardomain site) The only thing that i was really pissed about was my CDs getting taken...i had about 120 CDs in my car, and they didnt get replaced...

Ive had my whole car stolen once with my CD collection in there too. All my textbooks, etc were gone, which begged the question: if you're dumb enough to steal a car, why do you need books? Probably end up selling it for drug money. Anyhow, I might just do the glass myself since i can get it cheap and the labor is free (meaning me). Only problem is I'd have to wait. I'm very tired and I still have a lot of Homework to do at this point, so I'm taking a nap.

i was able to find a replacement window at the j/y... only window left on the only 2gn there.

Paintball? Hell, Ive walked out to my driveway twice now with a loaded 870 shot gun. 00 buck does nasty things. (I have a lot of that laying aroud, its what we train with, along with slugs, in the academy)

hahah yeah i use a nailler... alittle more dangerous but wont kill the guy...

the sob's that broke into mine... they tryed to pick the key hole with a flat head... then they broke my window.
