Thanks, guys!. Yes, I made it hope from Carlisle okay. Saved the best for last- heavy rain for the last hour or so. Plus, I had an idiot that tailgated me on IN-9 from Alexandria, IN north to IN-26. One headlight, about two feet from my rear bumper. I slowed down to 35 in a 55 in an effort to get him to pass me but he refused to budge for almost 30 minutes! Finally, someone passed both of us so he had to then pass me- "No one can be in front of me!" One bright tail light and an "In God We Trust" license plate- the worst drivers in Indiana always have religious license plates.

The most inconsiderate/stupid ones in Ohio have handicapped tags on their rear view mirror.

One would think if you had trouble walking, you would do anything possible to avoid crashing.
I guess they expect there will be a handicapped accessable crash spot in the ditch for them.

Sorry, I do not get to travel much these days with all the things going on. I hope to make the Dayton meet in October, though.

I hope to make Dayton as well. I started a new job yesterday so I don't know what my schedule will look like in October.

Gramps, you know your in my thoughts and you always have my number!
Happy belated birthday! Sorry I couldn't meet up with you this year. Ed mentioned it was late for PreReg and the showfield was full. He said his hands were overwhelmed this year with Ralph showing up and Christy Lee...Amongst everything else happening......
Maybe next year I can finally get out of my cage and you still have your SRT so we can meet up in 2023 :)

Thank you so much for thinking of me! We were told that we set a record with over 3K cars this year. As much as I would like to confidently state that I'm going to be able to make it in 2023, I kind of doubt it. I'm making a lot less money on my new job and, with my bum right leg, I was pretty much in agony the entire drive there and back. I still want you to attend whether I make it or not!

Gramps, I can't remember if your car is stage 2 or not, but if it's not, you can install a mopar cruise control kit, it might make the trip a bit easier.

Yup, it's a Stage 2 and I did have a brand-new Neon CC kit several years ago that I would have liked to install but, since no one on this site offered to help me install it after I asked several times, I sold it to a kid in MA via eBay.

Unfortunately you just live a bit far away for me to pop by and lend a hand. If you were a day trip away I wouldn’t mind it. And unfortunately, the stage 2 kit uses some of the space for the mopar cruise control. I had slightly considered swapping my wagon back to a stage 1 just to add cruise but I think it’s fine without it for now.

I know that you are too far away- don't worry about that. Had I known back then that I would have the Dodge tech that I have now at my dealership, I would have had him install it for me (along with the new temperature/compass mirror and the new illuminated vanity visor mirrors that I had).

Thanks! I spent most of it driving back from Carlisle. Wish that I could have stayed longer. I had to be back on the 18th to start a new job but I just gave my two week's notice for that job today.
