My Baby Boys

Post by kc2005ptgt » Thu Jun 08, 2006 9:42 pm

Ok, probably not what you are thinking, but my wife and I wanted a pet, and we couldn't get a dog (I want a Pug, she wants a Doxen) without an extra 50$ per month and 250$ deposit, so we went with something smaller, but just as fun and as hard to take care of. Guinea Pigs!!!

This is Pedro (left side) and the other is Javier

This is Juan Pablo

This is all three having play time together (which now they are bigger, they do not do)

And here is my new desktop picture because it is awesome...

What do you think??? They are a lot harder to take car of than I thought - they are sensitive to all sorts of things, and can be high maintenance... But they are sweet and fun to play with. Also, my son loves them and so does my wife - it has given her something to take care of till she gets her baby. :D

Peace!

You know what is funny? they are the least disgusting rodents I have ever had - I use to breed rats - and these guys do not smell, do not have runny poop, and they are easy as hell to keep clean! Just high maintnence!

We gave them all hispanic names because
1) they are from a hispanic part of south america, and figured they would understand us better (I speak spanish to them as mucho as posible)

2) because my 9 yr old son is learning spanish in school, and he helped by picking out spanish names!
