A Question?

Post by 702Neon » Wed Jun 14, 2006 1:51 am

Ok i need help cuz i'm still a damn noob in the whole car and warranty thing, i have a 6,000 mile inspection next week, and i have and aftermarket CAI on it, are they gonna fuck with me about that intake or not? cuz i really don't see anything wrong with it myself, i have alot more then just an intake comming soon but anyways. What do u think?

They wont. Aftermarket parts are only an issue when something related to that section of the car that the part is in goes wrong.

It took me about 20 minutes today when I changed back to stock airbox. And that's without even messing with the resonator in the fender.

I was going to trade my car in yesterday for a SRT4 at the dealership. They fully inspected my car inside and out, and didnt give a damn about any of my aftermarket parts. I pointed each one of them out for them as well.

I honestly dont think your CAI is going to be a big deal, nor is it if your car has a new muffler or not. But thats just my opinion. My cars been in and out the dealership frequently without issue.

It's only going to be a issue when something breaks.

Heh. It could also be that the nephew of the owner is one of my best friends. Lampe Dodge, in Tulare. I doubt any of the service people would shove anything in my face.

He has this cool deal going right now, stick a small little sticker on your car about Lampe Tulare, and he gives you five free oil changes a year.
