Did you buy a part and think it was awesome, or did you think it was a piece of crap? Let everyone know here so we know not to buy the same product.

Prothane motor mounts

Post by Tommyk » Fri Oct 14, 2011 11:57 pm

I just the race motor mounts of modern performance and I like them. They went in easy except the top one was a pain in the ass because there was some "flash" material still in the mount that I coudnt remove but I eventually got it in with a clamp, I didnt have to support the engine or take my tire off. My gas feel bit more responsive and there is quite a bit of vibration too but only under about 1000 rpm and my car even idles lower when in D. My car is auto the shifts seem slightly smoother, id imagine if your car is 5 speed youll notice shifting is probably way tighter or better feeling

I've always heard that convertible motor mounts are the best stock ones to use.

LOL

I was going to ban the OP for being a spammer but thought that I would wait and see if any long-time members might comment first.

IP address is from Ukraine, and they made a stupid comment on a 7+ year old thread.... Would you trust them? :lol:

No, but the humorous comment from BRR made my not immediately banning the OP worth it.

Meh, just because you ban them doesn't mean you need to delete the post. There are no links in it, or the sig, so it isn't hurting anything.

I bant them, before they began adding more nuisance posts throughout the forum to clean up.

I didn't delete the post.

I was just saying that you could have banned them, and it wouldn't have had any impact on the thread.

You said you didn't ban them because you wanted to see what replies were made, so that says to me that you would have deleted the post.

Thus my comment. :: Shrugs::
