CX Racing Coilovers
Hey everyone, thought id do a little review on the coilovers i bought a few months ago. Theyre from a brand called CX Racing. I found them on ebay for around $650. Searched for reviews and found people saying they liked them and theyre supposedly rebadged Megan's racing coilovers. I was a bit skeptical with how cheap they were but they ride quite well! I dont really have much to compare to but my friend who has driven alot of lowered cars and whatnot said they ride very nicely. He compared the feel to the springs on his lowered GTI (Vogtland i believe?) But anyways, we'll see how they last over the winter with the salt and everything but so far they are holding up very nicely!
Note, they didnt come with top mounts. They have rear sway bar tabs. Feel free to ask me questions about them if i didnt cover something you want to know and ill reply to the best of my knowledge
My progress log has a few pictures of my car with them on. When i adjust them for winter i'll measure to see how much threads i have left for all you "super low" folk

What do you mean they didn't come with top mounts? They have metal plates with pillow balls... are you saying these don't have them?

Hmmm... that's odd. Megans wouldn't work with stock top hats as far as I know... Wish we had pics of them before you installed them on the car.

Hmmm, you go to their ebay store, click on the link to get a better view, and
They also show no coil overs on their web site for a neon. Maybe you got the last set available...

UPDATE: Lowered the car some more last night. Ground to fender measurement is 22 3/4" all the way around. The front coils still have about an inch of threads left. The backs have like 3"[/i]
Edit: Here's the pictures. Theyre kinda crappy but hope they can help
