2nd gen coilovers

Have some questions about how to achive better handling and stopping power using different springs, upgrading to coilovers, questions on swaybars, bushings, different rotors, pads, ect... Having any steering problems or questions about steering racks, tie rods, tie rod ends, ect... ask these questions here.

hello everyone, i have a 2000 dodge neon sxt, i am wanting to lower it by about 2 inches, atm it has stock wheels and tires but i am wanting to get 16x7 wheels with 205/45 r16 tires. so my question is will i be able to fit the after market wheels an tires if i lower my car on coil overs by 2 inches,

Coilovers eliminate the rubbing issue SRT/2nd gens have with larger wheels/tires. No spring perch to rub against, so the only issue you'd have would be rubbing on the fender. You should be fine

Yeah, you'll be good with coilovers. I run 215/45/17 in the front and 205/45/17 in the rear. Clears stock spring perchs without an issue.

If you are on a budget, I recommend Monroe or SenSen shocks.
