Front Strut Tower Bar

Post by EmersonHart13 » Mon Nov 06, 2006 12:19 pm

First I know this is just for looks....

I have a strut tower bar like this:

And it knocks the windshield washer nozzle tube loose, not to mention the clearance is incredibly close. Does anyone else have this problem? Why not just sent the bar straight across? There appears to be more than enough room...

Thanks,

Because it would have cleared your factory scoop.
Just use some superglue to hold it in. I have a front strut bar and I can blow nitrous out of the nozzle and it dosen't come lose

Maybe he thinks you have an SRT-4? Because he does, and there is a hood scoop on em'.

Who cares about your windshield washer hose? I have that same strut bar and its not in the way at all. Its designed like that for a reason I supposed. More strength?

Yah mine does it every now and then if I take it off and put it back on. What I do is I rotate the bar forward a little bit just enough to clear it and it clears just fine.
