after reading through about 8 pages of this forum... i still have some questions ...

my car (2001 neon ES with sport opt. package) currently has the stock struts, stock bushings .. and the first release of the mopar lowering springs (when they first came out, i beleive those are actually the 1st gen acr springs?) ... 65k miles on the car...

i have a strut that is finally dead ... and never was really happy with this setup ...

what i would really like .. is a much stiffer setup with a drop of no more then 1" (less if possible) ...

my car already has the stock front and rear sway bar that came with the sport opt. package ...

while i have it apart likely going to do the poly bushings at the same time ...

i would prefer to not do a lot of cutting and hacking to make a strut if possible (the inserts) ...

coil-overs would even be ok by me ... if they will be stiffer and still give me enough suspension travel and firmness .. could care less about being able to slam my car down low ..

are there any companies out there that make a higher rate spring for the 2nd gen .. that doesn't lower the car? ...
