does anybody have these installed? i was going to get mopar high rates, but they are discontinued fom what i hear, and impossible to find. i am looking for a small drop, and these seem to fit my idea.

i am looking for a stiff ride, and about an inch or 1.5 inch drop.

Going from Mopar Stage 1's to those are like night and day. I just got high rates. You have to look but they are out there. Hotchkis are nice also but are stiff for daily driving. Eibachs arent to bad for everyday
Here is a set of Stage 1's for sale

Get H&R's.......no, no, no, don't thank me now, thank me later.

I promise, you will never change them after installing them.

The drop is right up your alley......check out lolelectricbluesxt's car to see the drop, heres pics from a thread he posted.....sorry about the amount of pics......Notice how the wheel gap is perfect front to back......and the ride, I just can't explain it, you would have to have a keen eye, or ask the owner if it was lowered, unless you went through some twisties, thats where they come to life.

By the way, Vogtland is made by H&R, but buy the original, you'll be very happy you did. PM lolelectricbluesxt, he'll tell you all about it.

I'm not some H&R salesman, I used to own the ones on his car.

The drop on them is perfect in my opinion, it is 1.4", Why anyone would want to go much lower on a stock strut is beyond me.

Just curious about the spring rates on H&R, do you know what they are???

I put Vogtlands on my car with KYB GR-2's. After many miles of driving (about 30K) no sagging, nothing. Good ride, and I bought the combo package (springs and shocks) for $250. Here's what they looked like on my old rims (225/45/R17 with spacers)

The stock wheels are back on there now, and they fill the gap in less due to the smaller diameter, but still doesn't look like an offroader.

They are the only progressive rate spring for the Neon.

You mean my Vogtland Sport Springs at

Front:
progressive
Initial: 25 N/mm = 143 lbf/in
Final: 45 N/mm = 257 lbf/in

Rear:
progressive
Initial: 16 N/mm = 91 lbf/in
Final: 24 N/mm = 137 lbf/in

Are not progressive?????

Info above cut and pasted from my email from Vogtland.
You mean they LIED???
Why do they have different coil spacings???

I had dropzones...not sure of the rates and all that, but in total at the end, they dropped the car at least 2-2.5" inches all around. I loved my dropzones :(

Maybe you skipped over the part where I said Vogtlands are made by H&R........

Not really just making it clear for others, I occasionally have a weird sense of humor that way.

The different coil spacings have nothing to do with whether the springs are progressive or not, they are just dead coils, almost all good springs have them. It is so they dont sag prematurely. My H&R's have them, Eibachs (non-progressive) have them, as do a few others.
