i have decided that i am going to buy a strut bar because they aren't too expensive. But can only afford one, is the front bar more important then the back or vice versa?

U'r thread title says "sway bar"... which is what keeps the tires on the ground in corners, and are located under the car attached to the control arms in the front and the struts in the back... while in u'r post, you talk about strut bars. Which are attached under the hood to the strut towers, and in the rear in the trunk. Which help prevent flex in the strut towers.
Best thing to get, would a upgraded rear sway bar.

Without the rear swaybar the rear strutbar is pointless. The rear strutbar is more important than the front.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that... Front and rear strut tower bars will only make a minimal difference until you add sways.

I felt more of a difference w/ my rear strut bar, but its even better when you get a rear sway bar as well.
