PTGT front swaybar question????

Post by jmr » Mon Feb 19, 2007 8:24 am

I have a 22mm front swaybar that is stock and am wondering if I should go to the 24mm SRT or the 26mm PTGT swaybar. I recently installed the 19mm rear swaybar to keep balance.

So my question is for those who have installed the PTGT 26mm front swaybar did you notice much change in the ride ?

i'm not sure how a sway bar would make for a rougher ride, but it sure will make the front end stiffer when your going from straight to left or right.

but really.. i'm not sure, the only things i thought would make the ride rouger.. would be the springs...

Sway bars act by borrowing spring rate from one side to the other. So If you lift the left you have to raise the right. That extra rate must be factored in and will increase the effective spring rate over stock by going to larger than stock bars.
