Lowering springs

Post by fallen_angel00 » Mon Mar 05, 2007 11:49 pm

If I buy the EIBACH Pro Kit Spring Set that has a 1.5 drop in the front and back will it even my car out or just sit it down the way it is (ie rear end higher)?

Modern's site has a 1.6" drop in the front and a 1.8" drop in the rear. Though it brings the car lower in the rear I don't think it levels it out like the sportline package with a 1.8" in the front and 2.2" in the rear.

:withstupid:
The rear will still be higher, but won't look higher cause of the way our fenders are shaped.

Thank you for answering my question instead of going off on a totally different subject. It helps me make my last minute decision.

I was guessing :( on your decision and asking at the same time...

Are you going with Eibachs Pro Kit, Sportline, or something else?

Sorry I didn't know exactly what you were talking about. I'm thinking about getting the eibach pro kit. I have money to throw into the car right now and I'm trying to decide what I want to get.

Pro kit drops the car evenly from front to back (1.5"). Since the rear wheel well is smaller than the front, it apprears to have more wheel gap up front from the fender to the tire. this will be the issue with any drop where the front drop is equal or less than the rear, from what ive seen.
