Driving 400 miles w/no alignment?

Just want some feedback on doing so. I recently had my kyb struts and progress springs put back on, was planning on getting a wheel alignment today but no one would take my car because it was so low. The only place that I know can do it isn't open until monday. I was able to get a new tire put on, but no wheel alignment.

I'm going to be heading to kalamazoo and then grand rapids right after tomorrow. Besides horrible tire wear, will driving the car at about 60mph the whole way there damage anything else?

My co-worked told me some horrific lotus storys where they ruined the whole suspension after installing it and driving 100+mph to the alignment place.

i wouldn't drive on that tire period

the alignmet, i would wait till the springs settle, but you definetly need a new tire.

Suspension should be fine but depending on how bad it is I had a friend chew up a tire in under 100 miles. From 7/32" to cords.

TOE is probably whack.

^ i saw the tire... cords are already showing and it dosent seem to be the toe, looks more like a camber issue. which it should be different know that the airstruts were removed and running on completely different set-up.

i wouldnt drive on them till getting the alignment!!!! not only will it ruin your tires but it could make for a crappy rider as well.

Ask if you can borrow your neighbors car if you are willing to fill up the tank and do an oil change when you get back. Thats what I did when my car was out of commision for a week.

i'm up to about 1500 miles on no allignment, my stock tires weren't so hot to start with, and now they're just worse, no big deal. I highly recommend getting it done asap after messing with your suspension.

i also didn't align it because i'm planning on new springs very soon, and i'm just going to do it all at once instead of a few times and wasting money.

bottom line, get it aligned asap.

lol ive been riding on my tires for about 6 months, ive gone through 3 sets of times (set meaning 4) lol waste of money i think :( luckily i can get all 4 tires for 50$ :-D, friend owns a tire place but yea, im dropping on coilovers in a month or so so didnt want to have to spend 100+ on an alignment then another 100+ for the coilovers. so i think you would be ok, just be ready for a new tire soon

just got an alignment today, no place would take my car because of how low it is and the body kit. I had to take both my front and rear bumper off, and then get it aligned, I'm now driving bumperless! :evil3:

car drives great now tho <3
