Toe adjustment

Post by bostwick763 » Wed Mar 14, 2007 2:46 pm

I was wondering if anyone had thought of a different rear setup other than 0 for toe. I hit a curb last week bent the susension arms(which got replaced), but my left rear toe is at 1 and 11/32" positive. I am having a hard time finding adjustable parts for the suspension except one that i found here http://store.summitracing.com/partdetai ... =sps-67210

The place I had my car looked at wanted to charge the same for 1 part not two. But i really dont want to buy either. Anyone think that adjusting both rears to 1 and 11/32" positive toe might be good enough for enhancing a little over steer. Besides I really really dont want to pay money for it and have to get it adjusted and pay more there. Got any ideas

It should not be that far toed in from what I remember.
Here is the real spec's I searched out for you from a previous post.

Those lateral links you listed form summit would be awesome with all four done. You could really get everything done just right that way. Camber and Toe.

Thanks for the info. Its not that I didnt search, I just didnt have a lot of time. Also I have a 03 r/t with Enkei Evo5 Hyper Black w/ Eagle F1 GS-D3/s, a cai, one of those fancy MPx throttle bodies, and Unortho's udp. And yes i do suffer from the evil 03 r/t tps to map issue. All I can say is once i get enough cash to dyno i will have that fixed for good.

Not a big stickler for not rehashing questions as info gets hard to find and forum will get old and boring and stale. So not a problem.

Rather rehash old stuff once in a while then wait 2 weeks for a post.

Heck you may run into someone new who has fresh take on things and they are not going to search mountains of data for common fixes that people have done to tell them how to do it better now that it is fixed. So you never know. I say ask the question. I just let it be known it was out there already so that you may want to go look at past threads to see what was discussed as well. You never know what you may find.

Have a Coke and a Smile and enjoy the rest of the day.
