I had the 33K service done on my car today so, while I was at the dealership, I talked with the service manager about the recurring suspension issues. He said that Chrysler had refused to reimburse him for the last service on the rear suspension as the factory felt that my mechanic hadn't fixed the problem the first or second time. I disagree with Chrysler's take on this completely and offered to talk with the Zone Representative about how professional my mechanic has been (he has worked on my Neons for almost a decade). The service manager now wants me to explain to him what other 2GN'ers have done to fix the suspension problems themselves as the factory will not touch my suspension again. I would appreciate any detailed suggestions that I can pass along to the service manager. I have less than 3K remaining on my 3/36 warranty so I am anxious to get this done ASAP. Thanks everyone in advance for your help!

I change top mounts every 5 or so auto-x they also have whatever driving I did between the auto-x on usually less then 2000mi. The only real solution would be a set of Ground Control camber/caster plates at like $300 except they dont work with stock springs. I havent had any top mount issues on Miley even at 50k so far.

^^Yes, thank you! Now if only the dealership didn't have computer software that keeps them from being able to log onto this site so that I could show the service manager that thread. I'll think of something...

Service Manager told me today that perhaps the problem might be due to my sense of hearing being "more sensitive" than most other people. I have also been informed that a Zone Rep won't look at the car personally anyway. If it weren't for the trunk rust issue that I am fighting about, I would keep pushing for a solution to this. I'm not getting anywhere so I'll have to choose my battles, I guess.

You should have stared blankly, and said "Huh, did you say something?"
Ass hats! :D
While good parts counter help may be hard to find, I've found good service managers are far harder to find. I've had far more luck with parts, than service.
