Sway Bar End Link Geometry

Post by ewetho » Mon Apr 30, 2007 7:43 pm

Just got shortened links for my rear sway bar due to being lowered and man what a difference. Going around corners no longer causes the rear to tuck down hard. The cornering is not improved that much but RIDE quality is much closer to stock. Much Happy!!!

I went with 1 3/8" shorter links and they are still just a tad too tall. Within the bar diameter though and I am not going to worry about that.Car was dropped 40 mm or about 1 1/2 inches.

probably because of less flex from the length of the endlinks... Good to hear you found a "groove"!

The Jounce part was just bound up so it was like increasing rear spring rate tremendously. Now I have the spring rate I paid for (actually a friend bought for me, did some work with him ) tied into a 22 mm Progress Tech. Sway Bar. Can still get a bit rough but swallows up the small stuff MUCH better.
