Mopar Rear Tension Strut(trailing arm) Question

Post by sullygully » Sat May 26, 2007 7:37 pm

Does anyone know if the Mopar tension strut (aka trailing Arm) is made to allow higher offset / wider wheels? I've been searching around and no one seems to have an indefinite answer. Is there anyone that knows for sure it thats the case?

I've also herd that the SRT4 trailing arm is cast a little different as well, in order to allow wider wheels.

If someone can clarify this i'd greatly appreciate it

No the bushing is the only difference. The SRT knuckle is the only thing that allows a wider wheel.

Thank you for the info guys. Its good to know i didn't blow 50 bucks on a set, especially since i've already changed out the OEM bushings for ES ones.
