Bushing lubricant

Post by daaboots » Tue Jun 05, 2007 9:21 am

What kind of lubricant should I use to get rid of squeaks from my rear sway bar bushings? I was thinking silicone spray but wasn't sure it that would destroy the rubber. I have stock bushings.

I've just used general purpose grease with mine. Got a tub of it laying around.

Get a heavier silicone like Syl-Glide or what not. But really new bushings are your best bet. Take the bar down and clean it and replace the bushings (If running stock rubber). You could try some of the stuff from Prothane or Energy Suspension.
