Welp, 70k miles and it is time to change the pads in the front again.

I dolots of driving and most of it hard, so I need to get some new brake sin the front and was thinking of going with Hawk Performance pads... any other suggestions? Maybe something better, money is not tooooooo much of an option, because it has to be done and wife said just do it
Hawk Performance Pads
So, if I do go Hawk, should I go with the HP Plus?

The HP plus don't last as long as the regular HP pads and they leave more brake dust. I have the regular HP pads on the 02. No complaints whatsoever.

I know these are just local shop pads but I have Pro Stop from Pep boys and i love them. They are much better the the EBC ones ive had and they are ceramic and leave almost no dust. They are lifetime warr for around $50

I second the pro stops. they feel great, low dust, and ceramic. I've only got 1500 miles on them, so no comments on wear.

I got some Bendix C3 Ceramic pads from Advanced Auto, they were about 55$ plus tax, and they come with lifetime replacement warranty. We shall see. not bad for the money.

Only thing about those Hawk Pads from what i've heard is the whine a lot.
I think that's a little ghetto. Then again so is beating your struts with a hammer like me hahaha

I put a set of HPS pads on my car last summer. Great stopping pad. A little on the noisy and dusty side, but they stop great.

EBC
dd stop and go get the greenstuffs..
for more spirited driving get the yellowstuff...
Doesnt have the brake lag of the Hawks when wet.
Also cash out and get the slotted dimpled rotors.

I have the EBC Drilled and Slotted Rotors...yet, I wish I would have invested in a better pad. (Ceramix by Napa) low on dust yet, I know there are better pads out there...
I Second the EBC Greenstuff or Redstuff
