Bar questions

Post by aperson » Mon Aug 06, 2007 2:04 pm

Okay, I should be coming into some money pretty soon and I want some suspension parts. I've done a search but haven't found my exact answer.

Are these strut bars the ones that fit a 03 SXT?

What about these swaybars? Will I need the mounting brackets to the chassis for the rear if I get these?

The car is completely stock if that makes a difference or not. I would really like to start out with this stuff first, but I'm open to opinions.[/url]

I have the Vibrant Type V front and rear strut tower bars in my 04 No problem at all. So those will do.

Those sways should be a nice set too. Even comes with adapter for non-swaybar equipped cars so look great.

Should be nice upgrades.

If you are looking for maximum perfomance and are considering dropping the car I'd start their. If you are an EIBACH fan then the bars and prokit springs would be very nice. You might need to get strut while doing this though.

If I could I don't really want to drop the car since I the roads are crappy around here and I still have to live with winter. Does anybody make a stiffer spring that doesn't drop the car? I know I could get coilovers but that isn't exactly in my budget at thist time.

Thanks for the tip, I'll probably do that when the struts start to go so I'll have an excuse to do so.

How did you find those? Ebay? No junkyards around here have SRTs. I know of a guy that has an SRT that is upgraded some. He might have his springs if he lowered it.
