Eibach Springs issue and looking for shocks to compliment?!

I recently fitted Eibach Pro-Kit 2815.140 to a 2nd gen. I was told by Eibach that these would fit even though many websites said that I needed 2820.140, anyway they fitted so now im looking for new shocks to compliment them as, as many seem to mention that they drop it a lot lower than you would expect and the stock shocks are suffering!

I was wondering whether 1gen shocks fit a 2nd gen model because I seem to be limited on thechoice of shocks.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Please note im in Scotland.

I've got photos that can show you the different in ride heights, its impressive and looks real good.

Cheers James.

Thoughts... After sitting here in front of the computer for a few hours, I've started to wonder whether I have been sold the wrong springs?

The specs for the Neon I eibach springs are as follows:

Eibach Pro-Kit springs for Chrysler, model: Neon I, model variants: 1.8, 2.0.

Model years: (mm/yy): 02.95 - 11.99
Axle load, front: 935 kg
Axle load, rear: 755 kg
Lowering, front: 30 mm
Lowering, rear: 30 mm

Eibach part number: 2815.140

The specs for the Neon II eibach springs are as follows:

Eibach Pro-Kit springs for Chrysler, model: Neon II, model variants: 1.6, 2.0.

Model years: (mm/yy): 12.99 -
Axle load, front: 995 kg
Axle load, rear: 875 kg
Lowering, front: 30 mm
Lowering, rear: 30 mm

Eibach part number: 2838.140

Now i'm thinking I've been sold the wrong springs?

Anyone got any opinions?

This link may help - http://www.eibachshop.com/index.php/cPath/70_77_78

Thanks James

1st - welcome to the site :hello2:

2nd - post pics of that awesome chrysler rt (it is right hand drive yes??? get some interior and engine bay shots ;))

3rd - yes, it sounds like they sent you 1st generation (95-99) neon springs, which stock springs from the 1st gen will lower our 2nd generation (00-05) neons, and I can not imagine how much 1gn lowering springs would lower a 2gn neon

As requested the pictues of my car. Some before and after shots of the car when the springs were fitted. I havent got any engine bay shots at the moment. (its Standard for now) the Eibachs cost me enough and shocks are following sooner than I thought (other Eibach owners will understand me) especially in Scotland (Any visitor will know!)
