i was rotating my tires today and noticed somethings....

one: my drivers side tire looked like this:

^^^^thats the inside edge^^^^

two: the area right above my tire looks like this:

so now, i'm wondering if i should grab my handy dandy dremel and start cutting out the ridge that looks like it could cut my tire if it stays there long enough....

ideas?

i have the eibach prokit and tokico blues

couple things come to mind.
what offset are you running with your rims and what tires size.

how much of a drop do those springs give.

im running 215/45/17s and 1.8 progress drop springs and i sure dont have that issue.
not sure what offset i have yet.

I have a set of new ones made from Moog. $16 and they are yours. We use them in all customer cars that need it and have not one failed

You just take out your one bolt that holds the strut to the knuckle and install it in its place. Then when you go get an Alignment tell the tech you just installed them and they can adjust them to the correct camber setting.

Camber won't keep the tires from hitting the inner wheel well like that. (Well it would but then the outer edge will look like that) By all means, don't cut the metal out as it will weaken your strut tower structure plus give the tire something to grab when you bottom out on it. NOT GOOD! longer bump stops or shorter/skinnier tires are your safest options. Yes taking the struts apart and installing bump stops is a pain, but not nearly as painful as your parents going to your funeral! Not being mean, just making a point. Aren't the sportlines softer than the prokits? That may be the problem.
