I know that ABS hubs have grooves in them for the light sensor, that's how it knows when to switch the brakes on and off. But that means a computer. I don't know for sure but I'd think it was part of the computer that came with the ABS car.

Maybe some SRT swap guys can shed some light on this, or people who have swapped to SRT-4 rear brakes, since I believe they are ABS.

Anyways if you swapped all the brake hardware but weren't using an ABS system with it, as far as I can tell, it would just work like non-ABS rear brakes.

You posted on Xmas Day at 1:29am, and then posted this at 11pm the same day :tardbang: Giev it time, people will respond...

As far as ABS swap, I believe you will have to swap all stuff over, from harnesses to the cluster to get no lights... I do not know of anyone on here who has done an "ABS" swap.

Are you sure? I can't see why one couldn't swap the brake hardware over and just use it as non-abs. As long as the knuckle and the rotor fit with the caliper, and the caliper gets brake boost signal from the cyllinder, he should be able to bolt on all the brake-end stuff and just run with it in non-ABS fashion. It's a guess but I know on other car platforms this holds true. No need to put in all the electronics for it -- unless you want ABS.
