Camber in the rear.

I am going to be getting some BC Racing Coilovers and I found out the rears do not come with camber plates to adjust the camber.

Pict of rear camber plates.

They cost $150 extra from where I am getting them at.
But instead of spending an extra $150....

I heard I could slot the top hole on the clevis bracket with a dremel tool. Anyone done this before and how to do it? I believe grambo did....

This one dude running the Megan coilovers said he was running -1 camber all around.

Or all else fails have the tech do the rear camber to stock.

Any ideas? I just don't want premature tire wear and thinking ahead before I get them.

You may want to talk with someone who already has them, I think Jason does, but the bracket may already be slotted. I know when I got my coilovers way back when that they were already slotted.

From the pictures I saw on Modern, Yes they are already slotted. From my experience, the slots should be more then enough to get a -1 degree.

I had the NTB alignment tech try to tell me that my tires wouldn't last 20k miles with -1* camber all around... I told him that's funny because I have -1* camber all around stock from the factory and I got 50k milesout of the stock Michellin Harmony's and still have 4/32" of tread left... Hmmm...

I would not worry about it prematurally running your tires out... I still run -1* camber and am on my third set of tires. Why three sets? I hated the Zeix ZE512's I ran for 30k miles, the compound was too soft for me. Now I run BFG Traction T/A's which is a harder tire.

The top hole of the knuckle mount is slotted allowing for camber adjustment that way.

:withstupid:
I've been running two+ years with -1 on two different sets of wheels and tires and both are doing well
