Part # P4510876 is SRT # from turboneonstore.
Rear one is same-same with SRT, right?
Thank you, that means a lot to me :D And yes, the rear is the same for SRT-4 and non SRT-4

Sorry for the crappy pic.

Hmmm, could be that the CF hood has more material underneath where the bar goes than the steel hood (kinda makes sense)

That makes sense, since they prob didn't design the hood with the strut bar in mind.

does it matter which you put in first? front or rear? or best to get both at one time?

Doesn't matter at all, neither one will make enough of a difference to alter the handling characteristics. The rear is in need of one more, if that's what you were asking. The large empty space of the trunk area makes for less stable strut towers, whereas the front towers have the subframe and engine mounts to help tighten things up. The DC bars are probably the best on the market. Adjustable bars are much less effective since they allow for a bit of flex at the pivots where the bar meets the towers. The solid welded design of the DC bars is ideal.

That listing is for a front bar, but is a rear bar picture. The SRT front will fit, but with the mods I listed above.

You can mix and match brands, but the DC bars will give better performance, imo

The MP bar is made by DC. No pics of the non SRT bar however. Everyone I know has installed the SRT bar, including me...

Yep, thats a MPx TB that I bought from Joe (teamlivid) here.

No codes on my car, but I have heard that as well.

What color is the non-srt one, can I paint it? If so what should I use engine paint?

Plus how did you exactly cut out those two holders to fit the SRT one, since the turboneonstore offers the freakin front strut for only 114 I'm thinking why the hell not as opposed to the damn 159 for non srt from MP.

You say the srt rear strut will fit a non srt and the site has that for 114 as well, cheapest I suppose right? I plan on holding on the front for money issues since I rather save and just the damn things out myself and pay less.

If you buy the DC bar, it will come in the dark gray color (Mopar paints theirs the silver color I have posted). You can paint it if you like. It may not be necessary to use engine paint, but higher temp paint can't hurt since it does get warm there.

I cut the hood pad tabs off this a pair of tin-snips. Bent the tab down and cut as close to the hood frame as possible. Then clean up the edge (to get rid of the sharp pieces of metal), then prime and paint the cut.

The rear bar is the same, and at $114.00, that is a good price. I did find the front (Mopar Performance) here for $109.65

and the rear for the same price

Wow, wish I knew you needed info on the cables. Did you just need the ends? The catolog lists no ends for it, but there is one listing that works great, I got some for myself.

Between BRR and myself, we can get you #'s and MSRP on almost everything :D

Well ya I got the cables in today and I was looking at them and I'm like wtf is this. well at least on the positive cable I'm confused.

I haven't read the service manual just yet to make sense of it but I will as soon as I get the chance.

There seems to be to lil wires running from this end piece. Can't find the plug for it on the new wiring.

travels all in here and disappears.

FSM? yep either way the gayness I just mainly wanted the neg. cable since the last one was just horrible and rusted onto the batt. so I may just do that.

Back to suspension, alright I honestly don't feel like modding the hood for the SRT4 front strut. Now I ordered the SRT4 rear strut, no prob. but will it ruin the integrity of the MPx Vibrant (49.99) front strut. since the rear isn't as stable as the front, I may do the srt front later but, for now I rather save some money but wondering if have that rear strut will mess up the cheaper front.

Thanks.

FSM = Factory Service Manual

Having the DC/MP rear bar will have nothing to do with what bar you have in front, and vice-versa. If you have some kind of bar in the front, it's better than not having any. You'll be fine
