homemade strut bar

Have some questions about how to achive better handling and stopping power using different springs, upgrading to coilovers, questions on swaybars, bushings, different rotors, pads, ect... Having any steering problems or questions about steering racks, tie rods, tie rod ends, ect... ask these questions here.

I am a welder and I am wonderinf if anybody here had did some custom strut bar. If yes, is it really complicated.

I'll do steel strut bar if I do!

yep, i do. the angles are the hardest part. i've found that it's one of my gifts that i can just "see" everything and where it needs to be. the brackets that the bars are welded on to is kinda hard to make too.

Last time I was working I had some brackets cut out for me when they ran the gauge of material I wanted on the laser table.

Those brackets are still sitting in the basement back home, still haven't made the bar yet :lol:
