Help with my Hotchkis endlinks

Anyone who has done the install from the instructions knows they leave out a bit for question, especially if you don't know much about suspension. My issue is the rear endlinks. I put them on tightened all the required bolts. Then the manual says tighten the jam nuts. Doesn't say to tighten them up towards the ball joint or down towards the lower bushings. Also my passenger link is a little higher than the drivers side and sits at more of an angle. Manual didn't say anything about adjusting the alignment of the links. Any pics or advice would be greatly appreciated.

The jam nut goes up towards the ball joint end, not the bushings. It's to keep the rod from backing in or out of the ball joint raising and lowering the sway on each side.

If one is taller than the other, screw the rod in farther on one side or out on another to make them both even, once even tighten the jam nut.

If one is angled more than the other, move your bar to one side or the other until it's centered.
