That's very true with eibach Sportlines or other springs with more than a 1.5" drop...
However, if you looked at Mopar springs, they give you the desired drop and work excellent with stock struts...
But what the hell do I know

yes, the mopars are one of the only springs that work well with stock struts. i might even go out on a limb and say the goldlines too (because i had them on my 2000 with new stock struts) but i wouldn't put them on struts with lots of km's on them, and their quality is shit.
but if you want proper dampening, though, go with new struts (KYB GR-2, Tokico HP Blue at least) regardless if you get mopar springs or any other brand. you will thank yourself, believe me.

Or Dropzone Struts Like I did that were cheap ~250 with slightly higher dampening than stock and a 1/2" lower perch height for more drop. That way you can even out your ride height a bit more by just doing the back...

you can get tokikos or KYBs at Modern for about 250. the Eibach Pro-Kit will give you the drop you want. So for a little less than 500 you can get a decent setup from Modern Performance and not some knock off crap from ebay.
You will want camber bolts to re-align the car to whatever you want. I liked having -1 deg all around, but it does show up in tire wear. Luckily by the time it showed up on my toyos they were needing to be replaced anyway.

you should be able to rent a spring compressor from an nearby auto parts store (advanced, autozone, etc.)

with stock springs, you will need to compress them for sure. you may not have to compress the lowering springs though, they're shorter than the stockers.
you're right, this is a place to get advice on your car. but your question was answered multiple times bro, you gotta learn to listen to these guys...they're been doing this a lot longer than you have by the look of it.

And if that Batman comment was directed at me, it was because I was poking fun at a triple post. It was fixed however so my post looks odd at this point...
