well i've heard in other threads that drilled rotors are prone to warp and crack easier and you would be better off going with a big brake kit, which prob means u might have to get bigger wheels...although if I were to buy some i would go with powerslot rotors(seem to be a very reliable brand)

There aren't any big brake kits for the regular Neon... only the SRT. SRT brakes won't work on our cars unless you swap to the SRT knuckles but then you run into a problem with the steering rack since the tie rods are longer which will cause your toe to be out. The SRT brake kits won't work without modification and won't just bolt up to a regular Neon.

Neons dont really weigh enough to start cracking drilled rotors. My suggestion is a slotted or cross-drilled rotor, Hawk pads, and Motul brake fluid.
I daily drove my ACR with CD rotors and drove the shi* outta the car and never had an issue.
My Avenger warped rotors monthly but, it was a fat-slow car.

I wouldn't really say that in every case Gram-cracka. Guy around here that tracks his has put cracks in his share of rotors many of times. He puts them through a lot of stress on the road course though.

well i wanted to upgrade my brakes to slotted or drilled but when I heard that they crack and warp easy I was unsure, the only reason i want them is because Im boosting my neon so idk if its a good idea if those rotors crack easy, what do you guys think?

My 5000lb SRT-8 has slotted rotors.
My 4000lb AWD, STI has drilled rotors.

The STI is a DD.

I wouldn't worry too much dude.
