Coilover correction

Post by excon » Sun Aug 10, 2008 9:55 pm

I spoke of this in another topic, but I thought i'd readress it since I may need new shocks and such soon.

I've got around 50,000 miles on my stock suspension, and I just did the rear drum to disc brake swap in the rear. My camber is way out of line at +3.4 and -1.1.

My question is are there any coilover kits that allow for that much change in camber? Would I be able to adjust the camber of the rear to get it back to 0 (or VERY close), or do I just need to bite the bullet and take it to a frame shop?

Well the upper bolt hole on my BC's are slotted. If you would purchase the adjustable mounts for what like $150 that gives you some extra play too. all in all it should be accomplishable.

The BC coilovers come with camber plates for the front and you can get them for the rear. I think they give you a 5 degree range.
