I went off and did something really stupid. I was removing my Eibach sportline springs and installing my stock ones back with new KYB Excel G struts and I installed the rear springs up front and the fronts springs out back!! I can't believe I did that! I am so pissed off right now. My Valentines Days sux now. Looks like I will be back in the garage in the morning.

So yeah I posted this for a simple lesson in:

PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOUR DOING

And now everyone can make fun of me!! I just can't believe I did that. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Hey, there are bigger mistakes...... I have heard of worse things happening.

Don't beat yourself up too much..... There's no 'damage' and it's easily fixed.....

I know I have seen it happen but man I personally can't believe I did that myself. My taillights are so freakening high that it looks like a bigfoot.

Anyone want rake...... :banghead:

Man... I've done stupid things like forget to tighten the bolts on my ball joints and gouge the shit out of my rotors as a result. So don't hurt yourself, this is just one of those silly lessons that you can laugh about later

I got one to make you feel better. Back in the day, I once attempted to beat the front strut onto the rear. The springs were on right, though.

well i fixed the issue today, and i was going to snap some pics of it before I fixed it but didn't get a hold of a camera and didn't have much time to look for one, so I went ahead and fixed it the way it needed to be. God, how much I have messed a comfy ride!! I know I have wheel gap again, but that is ok. I will throw 18's on it and be happy. plus I don't have the kit on it and the graphics are coming off tomorrow so the car will be stock except of the tint and no side molding.

I will miss the look I had, but I had to get better ride quality. I am ready to settle down for the wedding and ready to start a family soon. Plus I want to be able to have people ride with me as well in the back and people couldn't do it bfore due to the blown struts, and rear sagging due to audio. Now I have dents in my roof from people bouncing up and down and their heads hitting it. Oh well. The good times.......

Lol, dents in the roof. Do you have OEM struts? If that's the case, you could've solved the ride quality problem by simply putting in some tokicos struts. Those things are the bomb! My car feels just like stock ride, maybe a little better too. I was suprised at how comfy the ride is.

I have eibachs and tokicos, while it isn't bad on normal stuff, it isn't nearly as compliant as the OEM struts/springs were. The oem took rough terrain far better than my Cherokee could ever dream of. (Ride quality wise, durability would be another story)
