srt rear brakes installed strange click in rear?

Post by kevin25 » Mon Mar 30, 2009 7:51 am

Rear srt brakes are installed and everything seems to be working fine. However I notice that when i come to a complete stop and kinda press the brake peddle firnly in a fast motion I get this weird click in the driver rear? Not sure what it could be?
This is how it goes, press the brake peddle fast and firm, click, fast and firm, click, ect..
I think it might be the pad hitting the rotor or something? Just hoping someone could shed some light here.

I would double check everything again. Any bolts that were loose especially the hub/bearing bolt. You shouldnt have any clicking

I hope its not the hub bearing bolt, I dont even have a socket to remove it.
I found this on the srtforums.
"It's the pad moving in the caliper. Stop it goes up, release it falls down. Nothing odd about it really, just allows for no drag fit to the rotor"
This may be my problem but I am not sure
