r/t suspension

as far as r/t suspension what is different compared to a es model.. i know the sways a bigger.. but what about the struts and spings.. are they different in anyway??

none besides the sway. I know the 02 acr's had adjustable struts a different spring but thats the only one thats different besides srt struts

All models have the same springs, 2000-2005. R/T's have different sways, while the ACR's have adjustable struts in addition to larger sways.

01-02 rt's supposedly had a kyb perf strut, thats about it. Acr suspension is much better.

Basic/Touring
Front Swaybar: 20mm
Rear Swaybar: 15mm (only on early models)
Front Spring Rate: 140 lbs/in
Rear Spring Rate: 110 lbs/in
Struts: "Firm"
RT/Sport (option on lower levels)
Front Swaybar: 22mm
Rear Swaybar: 19mm
Front Spring Rate: 150 lbs/in
Rear Spring Rate: 120 lbs/in
Struts: "Stiff"
2001-2002 ACR
Front Swaybar: 22mm
Rear Swaybar: 19mm
Front Spring Rate: 150 lbs/in
Rear Spring Rate: 120 lbs/in
Struts: "Stiff, Adjustable"

I think it's mentioned. Probably in the FAQ section. Then again, if OB didn't know, then maybe it isn't in the FAQ section.

I've never heard of the rates being different. Since that kind of info isn't in the FSM, might I ask how you know that Ryan?
