Srt-4 Acr Rear Sway Bar

Post by Caraudioholic24 » Tue May 12, 2009 1:02 pm

Hey everyone. I picked up an ACR srt-4 rear sway bar from a member on here. He sent me endlinks, the 19mm bar and bushings. Now I have an 05 SXT with no rear bar but does have threaded holes. My question is..................

Are the rear brackets that go to the frame all the same or amI gonna have to get the srt-4 acr ones. I have a set from a 2001 neon from the j/y. Seems kind of small but its only like an 1/4 of an inch.

Also I have a bunch of numbers on the bushings I want to make sure I have the right ones.... CANADA, 4656946AA, 27-1A, 24861H.

And lastly The endlinks I have are the acr ones but I lowered my car on the pro kit so should I get a kit from modern to get shorter ones.

Thanks again.

I'm not exactly sure about the U-brackets and sizing. If the ACR sway bar is larger than a stock SRT sway bar then you may need to get the ones meant specifically for the ACR.

As for the endlinks, those shorter ones from modern are inexpensive. Why the hell not. It would be helpful, but I don't necessarily think they are needed.

Instead of over tightening them, place some washers between the brackets and the frame
Yup it definately needs to go lower. If its not scrapeing constantly why you are driving then its not low enough bro.
Sway brackets are the same...
I'f your lowered, you will need shorter endlinks...
The bushing's are different because of the diameter of the bar...

Get the bushings that fit the part number sway bar you have and you will be all set....
