E bay find for you racers, your chance to own high quality stuff for your Neon. This Dutch company makes race struts for Porsche, BMW, Corvette etc. Didn't know they made anything for us, must be custom.

Yeah, that's what the bid starts at. Like Motons, I'm sure they were a lot more than that for whoever first bought em. But if Chinese stuff just won't do for you, this is a must have.

That would be good for a rally setup, but not much better than quality coilovers for the street/track.

First off until we see dyno plots they are crap.

Second they are coilovers notice the threaded body

Third these particular ones I believe to be counterfeit namely because JRZ lists no SRT or neon application on their web site.

Seeing as every JRZ damper goes on a shock dyno and comes with a log sheet, I'm sure if the seller was contacted and asked...

Sure, call them coilovers if you want, I don't know what the threaded body has to do with it. I feel like calling them struts, whatever. JRZ calls them dampers, they don't come with springs.

They very well may be, but somehow I doubt it, I only linked the E bay auction as an item of interest for Neon owners to look at. If anyone seriously was going to drop that kind of money on them, I'm sure they would do their homework rather than take the opinion of people on forums. From the very top of JRZ's application chart:

" the dampers in the following list are build before and can be directly ordered and delivered in a couple of weeks. If your car is not in the list, we still can build it, we only need a couple of dimensions to make the damper fit your car. So don’t hesitate to contact us at the customersupport page for further information."

If they have plots with some consistency between shocks great.

A coilover is a coilover because the spring fits over the shock. What we have come to refer to as coilovers are technically any coilover with and adjustable spring perch. JRZ like Moton doesnt supply springs as they realize that each driver and each car will warrant different springs.

If all this is legit these may be a very real alternative to Motons all at about 1/7th the price.

About a year and a half ago a race team was trying to unload their race SRT 4. It was a package deal and part of the package was a set of unused JRZ's. Looks like they didn't have much luck selling the whole deal and they started selling it off in pieces, maybe these are from that car?

Here's a pic of the car:

Absolutely one-off's.

It's good to have a little inside information available when stuff like this comes up (for a third time) on eBay! :D

I'll see if I can put them to good use!

 Maybe if you were a racecar, and if it wasn't for a neon. That's outrageous IMO.

True, but if you are building a One Lap car to win then it is "resonable". It's all about how bad ass you want to be. Well, and how deep are your pockets

Yeah, you get what you pay for. Any one off penske, ohlins, or the like goes for about 1500/2000 per strut. BUT then again they show up to the races you go to and rebuild them on site for you, so they service what they sell. Although for the price you pay you should also get serviced, but that's another matter.

haha
