Tokico or KYB??

Post by DroopDaddy408 » Sat Jul 18, 2009 7:26 pm

Red or Blue struts guys? I hear the blues are excellent but I've been in my friends 1gen and he rides on reds. Even when he put the factory springs back on and still on the reds it ran good. Any pros and cons??

well lets see first do u got a 1gn or 2gn. and u cant compare suspension when it comes to a 1gn and 2gn. totally diff i think. but if its a 2gn then go with the blues. they are awesome as most everyone and including myself have them. no many people have the KYB ones because well they arent just as popular and tokico is better.

KYBs are "reds" I guess? are they AGX or something? they don't make those for 2gns, and the KYB they do make are stock replacements. Tokico are better for lowering a car. In fact the OEM struts are made by Tokico, just valved differently.
