Energy Suspension LCA bushings
Ok so Im confused as which ones to get for my Neon. Ive heard everyone saying to get the pt/srt-4 ones. Well I called ES to see what the REAL difference was for about ten bucks and was told that the srt4 ones will not fit or at least the vertical ones are different. I figure for ten bucks and being made for a better car it would be made a little better/stiffer which is what Im going for. Any help would be great. Thanks

I believe I used the black SRT ones in mine. Granted, I have the SRT LCA's, but other than some reinforcement at the sway mount, there is no difference.

Since you are reusing the metal sleeve, and leaving the shell in the LCA, I don't see how anything could be different.
It is only a $4 price difference at Summit.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.

I also trimmed #3370/#3406 so it fits evenly over the top of the LCA instead of having to flex over the arm.

ok so I tried to instll these tonite and I had a questionfor those who have done this already. When pressing the verticcal bushing together in the arm the bottom bushing will not stay in place. I cant see how it can when there really insnt anywhere for it to seat. The top is holding in there fine with the sleeve but if provoked it will wiggle out. So Im curious if anyone else ran into this. Im curious if I install it into the car will the bolt hold everything together. Let me know and if any pics are floating around that would be awesome. Thanks.

yea thats the problem. Im not sure if I should get the regular neon ones and see if they will fit more snug.?. I bought a 12ton press so I would have no issues with these. I was up till 4 in the mornin last night trying to get this done. I was ablt to press in the ball joint and the horizontal bushings no problem. I just dont want to go through all this again anytime soon.
Once you can get all three pieces to sit together in the arm (no easy task that), cafefully get them to the car and slide them in place. Mine did not want to slide right in since they wern't fully seated, so I used a prybar to pull down the lower portion of the K-frame slightly so the arm would slide in.
Once you get the arm in place, bolt them down and they will seat themselves fine.

If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...
